What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Youth Mentors position at Milton Hershey School?
At Milton Hershey School, we believe that every student deserves a supportive and caring environment. As a residential youth mentor, you will work alongside your spouse to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students, promoting their emotional, social, and academic growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to students in a family-like environment
- Handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
- Assist with daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Ensure students receive mentoring, care, and daily structure
