We are seeking a married couple to join our team as flex houseparents. In this role, you will live on-campus with your spouse and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a supportive family environment and handling various responsibilities. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming space for our students, fostering their emotional and academic growth, and supporting their well-being.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily routines, ensuring the students' physical and emotional needs are met, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff, and parents, and participate in regular meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you and your spouse must have a strong background in youth support and guidance, preferably in an educational setting. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be willing to undergo a thorough background check and obtain necessary certifications.
