Salary

The salary for this position is $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.

Job Description

As a Residential Youth Caregiver at Milton Hershey School, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. This role involves working closely with your partner as a team, guiding and supporting a group of approximately 8-12 students, and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and creating a family-like structure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you and your partner must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should also have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Additionally, you must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
