Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned institution providing an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to join our team as Residential Youth Caregivers, also known as flex houseparents.
Job Description
As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you will provide a nurturing, family-like environment for 8-12 students in our on-campus homes. Your responsibilities will include guiding students, administering medication, and ensuring their overall well-being while living on campus.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. Our benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid training, and relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to students in daily life
- Administer medication and ensure students' overall well-being
- Lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services
Requirements
- Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be married for at least two years and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
