What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Youth Support Team Members position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is one of the world's best private schools, providing an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are hiring married couples to become flex houseparents, who reside in on-campus student homes and guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students.
As a flex houseparent, you will provide a family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will work closely with your spouse to create a supportive and nurturing environment, guiding and nurturing students and handling various responsibilities.
We are looking for couples with experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. They must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Our benefits package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, with a three-week paid summer vacation.
