Job Responsibilities
As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for students from 8-12 years old. You will live on-campus and manage a group of students, offering guidance, support, and necessary daily care. Your duties will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and handling other responsibilities as needed. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being of our students.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and couples must have been legally married for at least two years. You will also need a valid driver's license, the ability to become certified to drive student home vans, and a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
