Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent couple, you will live in one of our on-campus homes and provide a family-like structure for approximately 8-12 students. You will be responsible for ensuring students' physical and emotional well-being, preparing meals, cleaning the home, and participating in educational activities. You will also have the opportunity to participate in spiritual growth activities and connect with local churches and communities.
Our houseparent teams consist of two adults who work together to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for our students. We prioritize teamwork, flexibility, and creativity in our approach to caregiving. Our goal is to provide students with a stable, loving, and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive.
Qualifications
* Two adults, married for at least two years, who share a passion for working with youth
* Prior experience in childcare or a related field, preferably in a residential setting
* Ability to establish and maintain healthy boundaries and relationships with students
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
