What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Support Specialist position at Milton Hershey School?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with your spouse to provide a family-like structure for students, handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting, and have a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. You will also have the opportunity to impact the lives of youth in a supportive educational setting.

You will be responsible for guiding, nurturing, and supporting a group of 8-12 students, managing various responsibilities such as medication administration and budgeting, and leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You will also have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
We are looking for individuals who share our passion for helping others and have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. A high school diploma or GED is required, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is necessary.
Our campus is smoke-free and weapon-free, and we limit the number of pets allowed in student homes, with only fish and one dog of approved breeds permitted. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also requirements for this position.
