Our Guidance Coordinators play a vital role in providing a supportive and inclusive space for students to grow and develop. Our Guidance Coordinators work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed. We also recognize the importance of flexibility and adaptability, working with each student to create a personalized plan that meets their unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities and Requirements
As a Guidance Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
• Guiding and supporting a group of approximately 8-12 students
• Creating a family-like structure for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more
• Providing a supportive environment for students to thrive
• Participating in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be a married couple who has been legally married for at least two years, both spouses being age 27 or older. You should also have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
