Job Description
As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you will provide a family-like structure for approximately 8-12 students, handle responsibilities such as transportation and medication administration, and serve as role models for the students.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develop and maintain a safe and welcoming living environment for students
- Establish and enforce clear boundaries and expectations for student behavior
- Transport students to school and extracurricular activities
- Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals
- Engage in regular communication with teachers and other staff members to ensure student success
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working with youth, especially those from under-resourced communities
- Couple must have been married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be at least 27 years old
- No more than three dependents may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
