What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supportive House Parents position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a unique community where students and staff work together to provide a world-class education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We are seeking a married couple to join our team as flex house parents, living on campus with a group of 8-12 students. As a couple, you will provide a loving and supportive environment for the students, helping them build lasting relationships and achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, and participating in daily devotions with the students. You will also be responsible for budgeting and reporting, as well as handling various other tasks related to caring for the students.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a total compensation of approximately $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.

As a member of our team, you will have a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
We abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and pets are only permitted in certain circumstances. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required.
