We are seeking a Houseparent Couple to join our team of dedicated professionals who provide a family-like atmosphere for our students. As a Houseparent Couple, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for them to thrive.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a compassionate and motivated couple with experience working with youth. You will be responsible for ensuring the physical, emotional, and educational well-being of your assigned students, while also contributing to the overall mission and values of Milton Hershey School.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
