We are seeking married couples to join our team as Youth Care Providers at Milton Hershey School. As a Youth Care Provider, you and your spouse will work together to create a stable, loving environment for students, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development. Your responsibilities will include guiding, supporting, and caring for students, handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. You will work closely with students to ensure they receive the care and support they need to thrive.
Salary and Benefits Package:
This role offers a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability options; retirement savings; relocation assistance; paid training; nine days on followed by three days off schedule; and three-week paid summer vacation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a stable, loving environment for students
- Guide and support students' emotional, social, and academic development
- Handle various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more
- Work closely with students to ensure they receive the care and support they need to thrive
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans required
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
