What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Caregiver and Family Mentor position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment for students in our residential program. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students, ensuring their safety, well-being, and education.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
In this unique role, you will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as relocation assistance and paid training.
