Salary and Benefits
Couples in this position receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple. The compensation package includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Relocation assistance and paid training are also provided.
Responsibilities
As flex houseparents, you will be responsible for driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other tasks essential to creating a supportive family environment. You will reside in on-campus student homes and work together with your spouse to nurture and guide your assigned students. When initially hired, you will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home, and both spouses must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy. Valid driver's licenses and certification to drive student home vans are also required.
