Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents. In this unique career path, couples will reside in on-campus student homes and guide students from disadvantaged backgrounds. They will manage living arrangements, provide support, and handle daily responsibilities while following a structured schedule.
Flex houseparents are expected to lead by example and demonstrate integrity as role models for the students. They should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Proselytizing is strictly prohibited.
The ideal candidates will have prior experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. They should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have valid driver's licenses.
