The Residential Youth Caregiver role at Milton Hershey School involves married couples serving as houseparents in student homes, providing guidance and nurturing to groups of students. This position requires creating a family-like environment while managing various responsibilities.
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students. Flex houseparents provide a consistent structure for students and handle responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and daily devotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and nurturing to students in a family-like environment
- Manage various responsibilities including transportation, medication administration, and daily devotions
- Reside in on-campus student homes with your spouse and provide a consistent structure for students
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
