The Youth Development Specialist position requires married couples to serve as flex houseparents in on-campus student homes. This rewarding role involves providing daily care, guidance, and support to approximately 8-12 students, creating a stable and loving family atmosphere. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily needs of your assigned students, including transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. You will also play a vital role in facilitating daily devotions and participating in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.

We offer a competitive salary package of $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 for couples, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also provide relocation assistance and paid training.

As a flex houseparent, you can expect a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy a three-week paid summer vacation.

To be eligible for this role, couples must have been legally married for at least two years, be age 27 or older, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home. Both spouses must be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. High school diploma or GED required, and valid driver's license needed to become certified to drive student home vans.
