Job Summary
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of students in our on-campus student homes. As a flex houseparent, you will provide a consistent family-like structure for your assigned students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students in need
- Establish a safe and welcoming living environment
- Assist with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Care for students' physical and emotional well-being
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a married couple with at least two years of experience working or volunteering with youth
- Have a valid driver's license and be able to drive student home vans
- Be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and participating in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and serve as a positive role model for students
