Job Summary
The Youth Development Director will serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing students in a family-style home setting. This role includes providing daily care and supervision, assisting with academic and personal development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. Candidates must have experience working with youth, be legally married for a minimum of two years, and demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of disadvantaged children.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision to students
- Assist with academic and personal development of students
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students
- Participate in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
