At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking a Youth Development Expert to join our team as a Flex Houseparent. This is a unique opportunity for married couples to serve as role models and mentors to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Youth Development Expert position involves guiding and nurturing small groups of students in a supportive, family-like atmosphere. This includes managing various duties such as transportation, health-related tasks, and daily devotions. In return, you will receive competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a unique schedule that fosters both professional and personal time.
We are looking for experienced individuals who have worked or volunteered with youth, preferably from under-served settings. As a couple, you should have been legally married for at least two years and be at least 27 years old. You will also need to abide by our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies.
Benefits include a salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school. Three-week paid summer vacation is also included.
