Job Summary
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents at our school. As flex houseparents, you will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your role will involve providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Salary and Benefits
Couples will receive a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling a compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Work Environment
Couples will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also receive three-week paid summer vacation. Our campus is smoke-free and weapon-free, and we limit pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
