What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Development Partner position at Milton Hershey School?
The Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as family guidance specialists. In this role, you will provide guidance and nurturing to groups of students in a family-like environment. You will work alongside your spouse to manage responsibilities such as administration, transportation, and budgeting while living on campus.
You should have experience working with youth, a valid driver's license, and the ability to uphold a smoke-free and weapon-free environment. As a family guidance specialist, you will be responsible for leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
In addition to your duties as a family guidance specialist, you will also participate in paid training and receive relocation assistance. Your schedule will include nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy three-week paid summer vacation.
Qualifications for this role include experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
