Job Description
The Youth Development Specialist role at Milton Hershey School requires married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing students in a family-like environment. Responsibilities include transportation, administering medication, and providing emotional support to a small group of students. Couples will be provided with the necessary training and resources to excel in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Candidates must also possess valid driver's licenses and be able to become certified to drive student home vans.
