The Youth Development Specialist at Milton Hershey School requires married couples to serve as flexible houseparents for disadvantaged students. These couples will provide a nurturing environment, oversee student activities, and participate in various responsibilities including driving and administering medication.
Our team is seeking married couples who share our commitment to providing an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will reside on-campus with your spouse and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a consistent family-like structure and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.

Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
