What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Development Specialist position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, a world-class private school for disadvantaged youth. As part of our residential community, you will provide a family-like structure, guidance, and nurturing support to a group of 8-12 students.
Responsibilities include managing daily routines, driving students, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. Our flexible schedule offers nine days on followed by three days off, with paid training and relocation assistance provided.

To be eligible, couples must have been legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be 27 or older, and they should have relevant experience working with youth. A high school diploma or GED is required, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
In addition to providing care and support, Flex Houseparents play a key role in leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Proselytizing is prohibited, and candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students.
