Are you and your spouse ready to take your careers to the next level and make a real difference in the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds? We're looking for married couples to serve as full-time flex houseparents at the Milton Hershey School.
As a houseparent, you'll play a vital role in providing a nurturing family-like environment for a group of approximately 8-12 students. You'll manage daily responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting, all while supporting the academic and personal growth of your students.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as relocation assistance and paid training. And with a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, you'll have plenty of time to relax and recharge.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple with a strong commitment to each other and to their work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
