What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Guidance Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and we are currently seeking a married couple to become Flex Houseparents. This role involves providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
The successful applicants will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited). Additionally, they should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess a valid driver's license.
This is a two-person job that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and ample time off. The schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including a period of personal time while students are at school. A three-week paid summer vacation is also provided.
