We are seeking married couples to join our team as Youth Development Specialists. As a couple, you will serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your role will involve providing a family-like environment, managing household tasks, and ensuring students' well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a safe and supportive living environment for students
- Managing household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
- Ensuring students' physical and emotional well-being
- Transporting students to and from activities and events
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and ability to drive student home vans
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High integrity and a commitment to being a positive role model for students
