What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Guidance Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a unique educational institution that offers an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking Youth Guidance Coordinators to join our team as part of a residential program for students.
As a Youth Guidance Coordinator, you and your spouse will provide a family-like structure for a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include guiding students, administering medication, managing household responsibilities, and driving. You will also handle budgeting, reporting, and other tasks related to student care.

In this role, you will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Your workdays will include a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also receive three-week paid summer vacation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
