As flex houseparents, couples will live in on-campus student homes and care for a group of approximately 8-12 students. They will provide a supportive family-like environment, oversee daily activities, and ensure the well-being and development of students.
Responsibilities
Couples in this position will be responsible for handling various tasks, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. They will also be expected to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. It is essential to note that proselytizing is prohibited.
Requirements
We are seeking couples with experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Couples must have a valid driver's license, be able to become certified to drive student home vans, and abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. High school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
