Milton Hershey School seeks a married couple to join our team as youth guidance counselors. As houseparents, you will provide a family-like environment for students in pre-K through 12th grade, guiding and nurturing them with support and structure.
Milton Hershey School seeks a married couple to join our team as youth guidance counselors. As houseparents, you will provide a family-like environment for students in pre-K through 12th grade, guiding and nurturing them with support and structure.
Responsibilities:
- Reside on campus and manage responsibilities including driving, budgeting, and administering medication.
- Guide and nurture students in a family-like environment, providing daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services.
- Manage a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as reporting and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
- Couples must be married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

- Salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple).
