Milton Hershey School is a leading institution providing exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you will play a vital role in creating a family-like environment for our students, working closely with your spouse as a team.
The position involves guiding and nurturing small groups of students, typically 8-12, in a student home setting. You and your spouse will be responsible for daily devotions, taking students to Sunday chapel services, and managing various responsibilities such as driving, medication administration, and budgeting.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. The salary for this position is $43,825 per person, making a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple.
In addition to the competitive salary, you will also enjoy comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a three-week paid summer vacation. The schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school.
To qualify for this position, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you should not have more than three dependent children residing in the student home.
