As a house parent at Milton Hershey School, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for students, guiding them in their daily lives, and helping them develop important life skills.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and support to students in a group of up to 12
- Ensuring the well-being of students while living on campus
- Guiding students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
