- Provide a consistent and supportive environment for students
- Guide students and maintain a family-like structure
- Administer medication and handle responsibilities such as driving and budgeting

- Maintain a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Adhere to limitations on pets, only fish and one dog of approved breeds is permitted
- Drive student home vans after becoming certified
