Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for disadvantaged students in grades Pre-K through 12.
Responsibilities and Expectations
As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for:
- Guiding a group of 8-12 students and providing a family-like environment
- Handling daily responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting
- Working closely with your spouse to create a consistent and supportive environment for the students

Key Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
