What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Support Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Career-Focused Education for a Brighter Future
Milton Hershey School is one of the world's best private schools, providing an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our students receive a career-focused education with housing, meals, and more - all costs covered.
We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students in a family-like environment. As part of our team, you will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students, providing them with a consistent and nurturing environment. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and experience as a team, working together with your spouse to achieve common goals.
We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule is designed to allow for balance and flexibility, with nine days on followed by three days off, and a period of personal time while students are at school.
To be eligible for this role, you and your spouse must meet certain qualifications, including experience working or volunteering with youth, and a valid driver's license. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
