What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Support Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
We are committed to supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds at Milton Hershey School. Our team of family environment providers work closely with students to create a safe and supportive environment. As a flex houseparent, you will live on-campus with your spouse and provide guidance to a group of 8-12 students.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will also participate in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Key Responsibilities:
- Nurturing up to 12 students
- Managing day-to-day activities such as driving and administering medication
- Fostering a family-like environment
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couple with at least 2 years of marriage
- Age 27 or older
- No more than 3 dependent children
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
