We are seeking an experienced Digital Large-Format Print Manager to join our dedicated global team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality wallpaper and play a vital role in the long-term success of Milton & King.
Position Overview :
As the Digital Large-Format Print Manager at our fast-paced Dallas production studio, you will be responsible for overseeing the productivity, efficiency, and output of our print team. You will also operate and maintain our EFI Vutek and HP Latex large-format digital printers and various finishing equipment. This leadership role requires a strong background in team management, production workflow optimization, and ensuring product quality aligns with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of large-format print production, including color management, ink technology, and employee performance.
- Ensure accurate color replication and precise print placement, including handling specialty inks.
- Utilize various print techniques to create custom wallcoverings with superior quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on digital printers and finishing equipment.
- Optimize and refine production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide ongoing staff training and development to maintain a skilled workforce.
- Prioritize file setup based on order volume and product demand .
- Strategically plan and communicate daily print schedules to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on large-format printers as needed.
- Maintain and manage employee work schedules .
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the production area.
- Utilize Salesforce, ShipStation, Fiery, Onyx, Microsoft Office 365 , and other industry platforms efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain software licenses, ink supplies, substrate inventory, and stock levels .
- Address customer inquiries as needed with professionalism and efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices to reduce errors and waste.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety and health standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in global business meetings to align operations with international goals.
- Execute custom work orders and special projects as required.
