Summary
This position assumes responsibility to serve our customers during their car buying experience by acting as a consultant to offer product knowledge and financial direction regarding a purchase. Employee fulfills primary responsibilities through clear and concise communication, strong customer service and negotiation skills, and consistent implementation of the 4 C’s: Character, Care for People, Commitment to Service and Continuous Improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists customers during their car buying process
- Qualifies buyers by understanding the customer’s needs and interests and matching them with various vehicles
- Takes inbound leads including walk-in’s, phone-ups, and internet inquiries
- Answering questions regarding New & Used product equipment and capabilities
- Communicates features, functions and benefits of all models
- Demo’s vehicles with customers
- Completes credit applications with customers and discusses financial goals
- Presents numbers and overcomes objections
- Works with management and finance teams to ensure customer needs are met while benefiting the company objective
- Delivers all sold vehicles by registering customers’ info, communicating how-to’s and answering questions
- Creates and Maintains relationships with our customers through consistent follow-up via phone, email and video
- Completes agenda tasks daily with quality follow-up
- Communicates clearly and respectfully through each conversation or message
- Displays outstanding listening skills and the ability to provide customers with satisfactory experience
- Consistently displays Milton Martin Toyota 4’Cs through customer and employee interactions
- Consistently achieves monthly goals and benchmarks for automotive industry and Milton Martin Toyota
- Follows dealership policies and procedures
- Reports directly to Sales Management team regarding objectives, goals, training, and performance
- Involvement in training
- Contributes to store training
- Attends SET training as required
- Completes monthly and annual testing
- Take part in leadership/training book clubs
- Positive attitude and Willingness to help team
- Consistently displays a team player attitude
- Help others’ customers when needed

- Capable of handling customer inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Effective at managing time and multiple customers throughout the sales process.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems to track leads and sales.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- A valid driver’s license is generally required for facilitating test drives.
