What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Math Teacher/Interventionist position at Milton Middle School?
Milton Middle School is seeking a dynamic math teacher to be an integral part of an innovative team designed to meet the needs of middle school students. The candidate will possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, be strongly committed to the success of all students, understand the value of collaboration, and be ready to collaborate with a team that includes other math teachers and team teachers.
Math teacher/Interventionist candidates are encouraged to have middle school experience and be knowledgeable in effective instruction and school improvement practices at the middle school level. The ideal candidate has working knowledge and experience implementing Restorative Practices as solid components of classroom student management and is committed to working in a district striving to become anti-racist, with a focus on equity in the school setting.
Given the special education shortage, we are looking to hire regular education teachers or interventionists to provide specially designed instruction. These teachers would not have their own classroom.
