Milton Town School District seeks an energetic, upbeat, innovative Reading Interventionist Substitute Teacher to join our grades 5-6 middle school. Candidates must have middle-level experience and demonstrate the ability to cultivate the love of reading among middle school students. Knowledge of evidence-based high-impact reading acquisition strategies for all levels, adolescent and young adult learners, including phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension strategies, is preferred. The ability to collaborate and communicate with other teachers is a must.
This position is for approximately 25 days, beginning on March 14, 2025. The minimum pay is $112.5 daily for unlicensed or $127.5 for a licensed substitute.
