Position: Field Service Technician
Reports to: Service Manager

What You'll Do:
- Master the Machines: Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental and customer heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
- Lead and Train: Share your knowledge by training other technicians on repairs, maintenance, and system diagnostics.
- Be the Go-To Expert: Travel to customer jobsites to provide top-notch repair and maintenance services.
- Stay Organized: Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and on time.
- Customer Interaction: Work directly with customers and vendors to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.
What We're Looking For:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).
- Eager to Learn: A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid medical card or ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, repairing and maintaining construction or heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have your own tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Capability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
