Job Description
Milton Town School District seeks a skilled Special Needs Programming Specialist to join our dynamic, fast-paced, student-centered 5-8 grade level teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s level or ability to effectively demonstrate the required competencies. Experience delivering instruction to students with intensive needs and/or speech and language impairment. Must demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training. Must demonstrate the ability to attain a working knowledge of assistive technology devices and augmentative communication approaches. Ability to work well as a team member and with students in an active, fast-paced setting. Must meet Highly Qualified status. The hours are 6.5 hours per day and 32.5 hours per week. Benefits include health insurance, dental, and life insurance. The pay range is $ 21.50 to $28.00. Depending on experience and education level.
