This position is a non-exempt hourly role which normally works a
9/80 work schedule. Overtime is required based on business need.

What YOU will do:
You will report directly to our Director of Logistics in our Hope Hull Manufacturing Center of Excellence and work to receive in all raw materials accurately and efficiently. You will play a pivotal role in the inventory control and movement processes and will be responsible for receiving, documenting, and transacting materials from point of receipt to stock locations. You will be a member of the cycle count team performing daily counts to ensure inventory accuracy as well as perform kitting to support manufacturing. You will work as a team to ensure deployment of our rugged computing solutions across the world.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, issuing, storing, shipping, and inventorying materials to support production schedules and meet customer requirements
- Accurately sort, label, move, and store items; place material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to part number; arrange storage to optimize space
- Enter data into computerized inventory management system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries; document discrepancies and seeks management advice on appropriate corrective action
- Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results to ensure on-time deliveries, while maximizing turns, and minimizing carrying costs
- Checks for damage and/or discrepancies between goods and invoices while working with other departments to reconcile discrepancies
- Research, investigate, and help locate lost/misplaced materials, equipment, and supplies
- Able to work with little to no supervision while performing duties with great attention to detail and completion within tight deadlines
- Identify, lead, and implement process improvements optimizing departmental area while improving downstream customer satisfaction
- Ability to execute/lead tactical logistic initiatives
- Motivated to learn new processes to enhance knowledge base of inventory management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5-years of experience in warehousing, stockroom, receiving/shipping
- 2-years of ERP experience within a materials/inventory environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions precisely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel etc.).
- ERP system experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Coachable, strong team player, quick learner
- Aptitude to be both an individual contributor and working leader
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 8-year exposure to warehousing, stockroom, receiving/shipping dock job experience
- 5-years of ERP experience within a materials/inventory role
- 5-years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Frontline supervisory/leadership experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Position environment is neutral with low to moderate noise exposure, this is a seated and standing position requiring the extended use of a computer and computer equipment as well as lift machinery, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Position will frequently be required to move equipment and other machinery up to 50 pounds across a room. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
