Job Description
As part of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts, models, and/or techniques for financial planning and control. They will work with appropriate department heads to forecast financial projections and provide variance explanations regularly.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, including completion of all reconciliations
- Work with appropriate department heads and individuals to forecast financial projections and provide variance explanations to prior forecasts or budgets on a monthly basis
- Work with appropriate department heads and individuals to facilitate the annual budgeting process, including schedule preparation and budget recommendations
- Develop modeling as appropriate to aid in budget and forecasting efforts
- Prepare schedules for and provide assistance in completing all audits, including MLB revenue sharing, IRS, etc.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in accounting, as well as strong organizational skills and great attention to detail. Candidates with prior Workday software experience is a plus.
