Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- **General Ledger Management:** Coordinate and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- **Audit Support:** Coordinate and assist with NBA BRI and CFS audits, providing necessary information and documentation.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
- **Collaboration:** Partner with different departments to offer financial insights and support for central initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
- **Certification:** CPA or equivalent certification is a plus, but not required.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- **Attention to Detail:** Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and collaborators.
- **Problem-Solving:** Ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and successfully implement solutions.
- **Great Teammate:** A strong focus on collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
