Overview
This position is an exciting new position that is aimed at giving a hardworking professional the opportunity to work and develop in a high-performance setting. The position will be highly mentored and will undergo extensive in-house training to develop practical skills and knowledge in strength and conditioning and sport science.

Responsibilities
- After a period of education, this position will craft and write player training programs in close collaboration with Bucks strength and conditioning staff using approved software systems.
- Assist with the execution of regular fitness assessments and collect training monitoring data on players.
- Assist with the sport science laboratory standards system. This includes playing an active role in reliability data collection, equipment testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair.
- Keep up to date electronic records of player testing and training monitoring data on the approved player software system.
- Initiate regular direct and electronic communication on player progress to the head strength coach, performance director and other service providers.
- Function as an effective multidisciplinary team member to provide high performance services to players and coaches
- Collaborate with the Strength and Conditioning staff to implement the strength and conditioning services to players; assist with summer training programs; craft and implement strength and conditioning assessment protocols; and complete training monitoring systems for players.
Qualifications
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to relate to coaches, players and colleagues. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Degree in exercise and sport science with a specialty in strength and conditioning.
- Other professional qualifications or certifications related to elite player conditioning are preferred. (e.g., CSCS).
- High level of competence with computer software and technology.
- Prior practical exposure to sport science technology.
Working Conditions
- 40-hour week. The candidate will be encouraged to work unconventional working hours to ensure that all deadlines and responsibilities are met.
- Domestic travel is required.
- Currently eligible to work legally in the United States.
