Job Summary: The Clerical Assistant 1 will provide general front office support to the Veteran Services Office. This position will be responsible for front desk coverage, answering phone calls, managing calendars, updating website and social media accounts, prepare outreach materials for staff, and maintains the paper file system.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and guidance to walk-in clients. Answer general questions and directs customers to appropriate staff.
- Answers phone calls and respond to voice messages.
- Maintain and update website and social media accounts with the most current and accurate information.
- Prepare outreach materials for various outreach events. Ensure materials are appropriate for the specific events and coordinate outreach events as directed.
- Maintain the existing paper filing system within the office.
- Maintain and update staff calendars.
- Responsible for office purchasing.
- Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
- Current resident of the State of Wisconsin
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one (1) year of clerical and customer service experience in an office environment.
- Intermediate Knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Intermediate experience using social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. with the ability to post information onto platforms.
- Military Veteran
- Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish
- Previous marketing experience
