With leadership on board, turn your proposals into reality, implementing in coordination with business partners Essential Responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be the strategy and management of the digital portfolio for one of Milwaukee’s core Business Units. You will be managing a mix of existing and yet-to-be-created solutions, and working with stakeholders on a business plan that supports a growing and increasingly-complex product line. Define clear user problems that lead to product features and capabilities with a strong emphasis on delivering measurable usability and productivity benefits, which deliver business value in support of our program strategy. Responsible for driving software initiatives from inception to execution and iteration. Work closely with engineering and product design, building viable products that can scale while delighting our customers. Work closely with digital team members, internal stakeholders, and external clients to deliver a user experience that includes industry best practices. Prepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap defining product enhancements for short- and long-term releases. Develop and deliver concise and meaningful presentations to promote your platform to internal and external stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to enable your product’s success and create customer demand for further enhancements. Act as a Product Champion within the organization Operate with a holistic perspective: balancing the top-down strategic view within the context of a bottom-up detail focus to ensure program efficacy within the context of the business objectives. Be a subject matter expert in the product market and provide vision and leadership to your product team. Integrate user feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy user needs as well as wants. Qualifications/Requirements A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software product management or product leadership Knowledge of design thinking strategies, instructional design, resource creation, and communications for optimal adoption. Strong consultative, relationship-building, interpersonal and influence skills, and effective at quickly establishing credibility and collaborating with others. Previous experience working with and impacting user experience. Possessing a strong analytical mindset; able to understand and communicate large data sets to a variety of audiences. Solid customer orientation, core understanding of the user lifecycle and user needs, and how user insight and user strategy drive experience Experience in Agile software development, startup, or agency experience preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills required with the demonstrated ability to balance competing demands. Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, product development, or another customer-oriented related field.
